Filing I-485 based on approved I-140 filed by previous employer
Hi Everyone,

I need your help with the below.

I'm currently working for employer(B)-fulltime, they started with my green card process(still at the privilege wage step for the last 1 yr) and probably that will take longer (~12-18 months) to reach I-140 stage.

My PD is current with my previous employer(A), I’m trying to find out if it is possible to file I-485 (Adjustment of status) based on approval I-140 with my former employer(A), as it is still valid and the employer is willing to offer the job upon approval of the I-485.

If the above is doable, Can I still continue to work for current employer(B) until the I-485 is approved Or change sponsorship to Employer(B) in the future as the job position is same / similar using AC21 portability?

Do you see any issue with the above? let me know what is better.

I appreciate your help.
