EB2/NIW Green Card
We finally received our green cards. I filed I-140 in 2017 and got the approval in 3.5 month. Then, my wife and I filed I-485 together in 2018. Here are the dates for I-485, in case it might be helpful.
February 14, 2018: Case Was Received
February 14, 2018: Fingerprint Fee Was Received
April 4, 2018: Fingerprint Review Was Completed
May 14, 2018: Case Transferred To Another Office
May 14, 2018: Case Was Received At My Local Office
May 15, 2018: Fingerprint Review Was Completed
May 16, 2018: Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction
October 19, 2018: Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview
October 21, 2018: Interview Was Scheduled
November 26, 2018: Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed
November 26, 2018: New Card Is Being Produced
November 27, 2018: Case Was Approved
December 1, 2018: Card Was Mailed To Me
December 6, 2018: Card Was Received in the Mail
The interview was in Lawrence, MA. It took ~45 minutes and was super easy. The officer only asked basic questions regarding my job and our marriage. Then, he said he was going to approve the case, which he did later that day based on status update (but note that the online website updates 24-48 hours later, so be patient!)
