Adjustment of Status Interview
I would like to share my experience and also have a question for others who may have faced a similar situation.
My PD is 12/29/2016
i140 approved - 11/13/2018
Case transferred to local office - 12/04/2018
Ready to schedule interview - 02/08/2019
Interview scheduled - 03/25/2019
The IO was very friendly and we chatted about a lot of different things. He asked the basic questions around if we were arrested and so on. asked for additional documents to prove me and my wife are still married.
He then said everything looks great and he will review the i693 and then approve the case by afternoon. He also said if we do not hear back from USCIS asking for additional details then consider the case approved and we should received the GC in 30 days.
After a few hours of the interview our i485 case was updated with status as interview completed and the case needs to be reviewed.
Not sure what this means, has anyone had similar experience??
