AOS I485 Interview scheduled without approved I-140 (Still Pending)
Hi All,
Has anyone experienced the situation of being scheduled for an I-485 Interview at your designated local field office but your underlying I-140 is still reporting as pending?

No updates since....until....
I-485 Interview is Scheduled (online update) 4/30/2019
I-485 Interview Notice mailed, Scheduled for 6/4/2019.
By all accounts it is quite unusual to be scheduled for an interview at a local field office without the previous steps (I-140) being approved at the national centers.
So I am keen to see if any one else is in the same boat in the last few months. Please share your experiences especially if you have already proceeded to have the interview with the underlying I-140 still pending.
