AOS I-485:Timeline & interview experience
Like many others, this forum benefited me a lot , especially during those nerve wracking days.Outlining my end to end timeline & Interview experience below.

Timeline:

• I 1485 AOS filed on Aug 16, 2018 - EB2 (priority date was current then, and remained current). • EAD/AP received on Feb 07, 2019 (online updates started coming in ~1 week prior to receiving)
• Online Status updated to Ready for Interview scheduled on Apr 15, 2019
• Approx 4-5 days later got letter with Interview date of May 23 2019 (details below)
• Text/Email Card Is Being Produced May 23, 2019. Note: I am primary, however, only my wife got email/text updates from USCIS and her status updated as well…mine still stated "Ready for interview"
• Received AOS approval letter for both me & wife via postal mail, May 28
• Online USCIS update on May 30, 2019- Card Mailed and USPS tracking # was given
• Card expected - June 01

Interview:
We were at office early and interview started 20 mins early
I organized documents very well and carried original & copy of most standard documents.
IO asked for Job duties as first question...perhaps I gave long answer than he expected. No further question on employment, Company or employment history.
He asked for Employment Verification letter
He asked for most recent I 94 and when you arrived in the US last.
Marriage proof (it was open ended- provide what docs. you have). We carried and provided Marriage album, Joint house deed, joint insurance (car and medical), and joint tax returns for 3 years (imp.)
Submitted medicals as we had not submitted them during AOS filing
He asked and collected Children birth certificates
He went over most AOS questions (not every question, but I would say key biographic ones)
Trick question: I was asked questions related to my wife (e.g., her birth place etc.) and vice versa
Asked for copies of AP/DP, Driver license
In the end, he mentioned, I will recommend your case for approval. After that, it was casual talk for couple of mins on weekend plan etc.

I waited for many years for priority date to be current...indeed, overall process need lot of patience. with many lows and highs.

Thank you all and good luck!
