Medical documents
Hello folks,

I applied my I-485 on Jan 7th, 2019. Prior to applying, I got the I-693 (medical forms) certified by the surgeon on November 14, 2018 (a little less than 2 months before applying I-485).

I received a courtesy letter last week stating the following:
"The civil surgeon certified the exam more than 60 days before the date the applicant filed the form I-485 OR more than two years have elapsed since the date the I-693 was certified by the civil surgeon"

and it asked me to bring the evidence during the interview appointment.

My civil surgeon gave me a set of I-693 for my own records saying that some times USCIS loses these documents and it is common. So asked me to take those set to the interview.

My attorney says that they found something problematic in your I-693 and is suggesting me to redo the exam. Now I need to get it done for my family (me and 2 kids) which is kinda expensive to go through again.

Did anyone go through this ordeal before? What did you guys do?
