L1, L2 Visa

Background: Employed in a product company for the past 5 years. Applied for L1A blanket. Dont have any reportees in this role. Managing an essential function of my company.

VO: Hi
Me: Good Morning

VO: Can I have the documents please
ME: Sure, < handed over the documents > , do you also need the other passports(my kids and wife's)
VO: Yes, if you want the Visa for all
Me: :-) < handed over the other passports >

VO: Which Company are you working for
ME: < name of my company >

VO: Whats your role in US
ME: Global leader for YYYYY functional area

VO: Do you have direct reports
ME: This is a functional role where I will be managing a cross functional team but don't have any direct reports

VO: Do you have any indirect reports
ME: No

VO: Whats your designation
ME: < stated the designation >

VO: What your US salary
ME: < stated the salary >

VO: Whats the designation of the person you will report to in US
ME: < stated the designation of my manager >

VO: Where will you be working US
ME: < stated the location >

Stamped the documents and stated that the Visa has been approved.

The key to the Visa process is understanding the eligibility rules and applying in the correct category. Also during the visa interview answer the questions directly and be confident(assuming you have done the ground work).
