L1B at chennai
Thanks to this forum to get me reviews about visa interview experience and overall process. That really helped. Finally my turn to share my experience.
I went to chennai consulate for L1B along with L2 for wife and son.

OFC on 14th July'19 at 2:45pm
Interview on 15th July'19 at 10:15 am

- Arranged document in the order as mentioned in the appointment letter. (I did this already)
- Paid fraud detection fee 500$
- Verify bio-metrics for me (left hand 4 fingers) and wife (right hand 4 finger) - I suppose its random just for verification
- Then you will be asked to join appropriate queue and when your turn comes you will be asked to go to respective counter.
- Finally turn came and person asked to go to counter 19 (By this time clock showed 11:50am)

I greeted the VO - Good Morning
He replied - Good Morning
Can you handover the documents ?

VO - who is your petitioner
Me - ZZZ

VO - How long you are with ZZZ?
Me - X years

VO - What product line you work on?
Me - ZZZ
Counter question => what in that YYYY ?
Me - Blah blah ... briefly

VO - What is your specialization?
Me - explained in three lines which dont include any technology or domain.

For sometime VO started reading something in screen and it was total silence.

VO - question after reading (must be petition)? What is YYYY tool?
Me - Explained

VO - Which place you are going?
Me - Answered

VO - How much is your salary?
Me - ZZZ

(To Wife)

VO - Ma'am you had previously applied for XX visa what happened?
Wife - Answered

Finally VO said all approved. He scanned the passports once again and stamped on I-129S 3 copies and kept one set and returned other 2. Said give once to HR and keep the other one with you else there will be problem.

Me - Thank you.
VO - Have safe travels.
Me - Thank you and have a nice day.

Tips:
- Do rehearse to prove what is your specialization if you are applying for L1B.
- Don't get into discussion with anyone. It just distracts.
- Give honest and straight answers.

Important factor is Petitioner, your experience with petitioner and salary (good salary more than 90k)
