New Rule - Self Sufficiency of Applicant -I130
I’m concerned about this new rule that came out on August 12th regarding the applicant having self sufficiency. I applied in May with a priority date of May 7, 2019. I was not working at the time but now I am working full time and living on my own. My salary is way above the poverty line but my husband has no “real skills”. He’s unemployed and works as a farmer. How would that impact our application? would it impact our I-130? The separation is already killing us.
