L1B Individual visa Approved at Mumbai Consulate
I am indebted to everyone who posted their experience here, for it taught me a lot about what to expect.
I have a few things to add here.
1. Individual L1B ( or L1A's i assume) are relatively easily approved ( or so I gather). Unless you screw up big time ( or say something different from what your DS160/i129, you should be fine.
2. In my case the VO did not even ask about the specialisation. He just asked me about my previous B1 visits ( if you have these, figure out clearly how you will justify them. 2 months or more on b1 is a big no-no).
3. Be Respectful and pleasant.
4. There is some amount of Luck factor here. The VO I spoke to seemed like a really nice guy. But since, you have no control over this bit, just give it your best shot and practise really hard.
