Finally it is my time to add the visa experience. Biometrics in OFC was a cruise except for reaching the location especially when you are reaching there on your own with Metro work progress at Anna Salai.
PAI was scheduled at 12 noon, but I was there around 10 as reached there finishing the OFC submission at 9am. Luckily for me the security allowed me around 10:45. Everything went smoothly including the DD collection and I was waiting for my number to be displayed. It was counter 19 and there was one elderly couple getting interviewed. The VO was in a nice mood and their Visa was approved. Yup it was my turn now.
VO: So you work for xxx company?
Me: Yes
VO: Who is your client? Me : xxx
VO: Ok, what is your salary at US
Me: 85k
VO: How many reportees?
Me: 6 Direct reportees, 5 of them are PM and 1 Senior BA
VO: role?
Me: Program Manager
(By now he was moderately typing something on the keyboard)
VO: how long you been a manager
Me: since 4 years.
(He was pulling out by 129 document and placing the seal on them. Slowly I was realizing all is well, he marked something on the documents and he kept aside the passport, it was more or less certain that I was thru. He placed the rest of the documents to me take over and spelt those words)
VO: Your Visa is approved and please take your documents.
Not sure if the VO looks for something specific, it was very plain and simple interview, may be some luck is also involved...
