Cliche to mention but this forum was very helpful in building the confidence and providing in-sigh to me.

My Profile:
Experience: 12+
Salary: 100K+
Onsite Reportees: 10+
Designation: Senior Manager

Questions at the Consulate:
1. Are you from X Company?
2. How many people report to you?
3. Which Client are you travelling to?
4. What is the salary?
5. How many people report to you in Onsite?
6. Your Designation?
7. Managerial/Functional?

No questions to dependents.

Other Points:
As others mentioned, please go to OFC or Consulate just 15 mins before or at least join the queue 15 mins before your schedule. This avoids confusion to others. The process will be quick once the schedule starts. Also, as you know, they don't have any fixed number of Visas and if your case is genuine then you will get one, irrespective of whether you are first or last in the queue. The main point is to go in a relaxed mood and talk confidently.

I know what to wear is subjective, and I had thought of choosing it based on weather. As the weather was cool that day, I wore suit with tie. I actually kept the jacket on the hand and wore while stepping into the security room :).

During initial appointment or while collecting passports from OFC site (or VFC), don't take any bags with you as they don't allow it inside and you need to pay some auto drivers to keep them. Also if you are collecting passport for your dependents then make sure you have their authorization letter with an ID proof copy and appointment copy or DS form.

As others mentioned, if you have child less than 14 years then just a photo is suffice and physical presence is not needed (no finger printing for them). If you are taking them then nobody stops you.

On the timeline for issuing Visas, I got my passport returned within a day after Consulate interview.

All the best!
