L1A Ind
Hi Everyone,

I own a lot to this forum. So, finally its my turn to post experience.I went with family 2 daughters (1 US citizen) and us @Chennai consulate.

I was in US for 6 years on H1 about 3 years back and 6 months back my L1B denied.

We had fingerprinting on Thu and PAI on Friday. Fingerprinting went fine, with in 15 mins we were out. Next day went to consulate @9:50 AM our appointment time was 9:30 AM.

Directly went inside (after showing confirmation letter and security), inside also no waiting directly went to consulate builiding and got token.

We all want to get refresh, so visited washroom and I can see that now our token was not displaying as they might have waited for us sometime, and we were not around due to washroom break. Finally, again number got displayed for another window and we were first.....

Me: Good Morning!
VO: Good Morning!

VO: Visa type, L1 A Ind?
Me: Yes

VO: So, you work for ***
Me: Yes

VO: How long?
Me: 8+ years

VO: Who is your client?
Me: ***

Going through something on compute and asking questions, without eye contact

VO: Your US Sal?
ME: Answered (it is 85+)

To my wife:
I told VO that she is not comfortable in English ans asked for Hindi and asked if I can translate, she said no. Someone from inside came and ask 2 questions

1. How long you guys got married?
2. Highest education qualification

Thats all. She ask my original I 797 to see and returned it and kept 3 passport with her. 3 passports and 4 guys, she asked about other one, then she told Is your daugher US citizen? We said yes, it done.

I was little confuse at that time, as she didn't look for any docs and I thought she will stamp on I129 3 copies, I asked her about same, she told its individual so its not required. It was goo day, I haven't see anyone going back irrespective of any VISA or any counter....

With in 20-25 mins we were out.
