Business Visa - B1

Hi all my visa was rejected Under 214(b). Could any one tell the possible reason by the below is transcription

Me: YYYY company

VO: how long you are working
Me 5 months

VO: what is your designation
Me: software engineer

VO: What is annual salary
Me: xx Lakhs

VO: Are you married
Me: no

VO: what is your qualification
Me: Btech

VO: where did you work previously
Me: Mphasis and IBM

VO: how long did you work there
Me : x years

VO: Why did you tell Infosys when you worked for Mphasis
Me : i said Mphasis only may be you have misheard it

VO: your previous company was Mphasis then why did you tell IBM
Me: I said before Mphasis i worked for IBM also
VO: i only asked previous employer

VO : Again he asked what is your present company?
Me : xxxxxxx company

VO: Sorry your visa was rejected Under 214(b)
Me: why

VO : Please contact your company for more details
Me : Shocked and left

Really i am clueless why my visa got rejected. could any one please help
