Hi All,
I had my visa interview in chennai on 1st August 07. Here I share my experience which I had at the consulate so that it could be of help to all Visa aspirants.
VO: Hi, how are you doing!
Me: Hi, I am fine
VO: Which company you would be going to work for in US?
Me: YYYY XX company.
VO: I know abt this company ( with a smile )
Me: Okay with a even bigger smile.
VO: How long you working for this indian company?
Me: XX months
VO: Why you going to US?
Me: I told him some detailed info of my project and my role there.
VO: Okay your visa is approved.
Me: Thank you!
So basically be confident and keep smiling. Secondly understand prepare for questions like
- why you were choosen for this proj?
- where you will stay in US?
- what is the kind of proj you work in india and what in US
