Hi,
My husband got his GC in Sept 2014. His PD was 3/3/2009 in EB2. I got married in Nov 2013 and I filed as his dependent during Sept 2014 when his PD was current. Since i was 6 months pregnant, i was not able to get some shots for medical exams. So, I got my EAD, AP but not GC.
I got RFE on March 1st, 2015 requesting for Medical reports and some documents showing i am legally married to my husband and not for GC purpose since its less that one year i filed GC as a dependant. I sent all the proofs and medical records and the papers reached USCIS Texas office on April 2nd, 2015.
Initially, the status showed as there will be a decision made by June 2nd, 2015 but then on June 3rd the status changed that we will start working on your case and will notify on a decision but nothing happened as of today.
So, I wanted to know the following.
1. Now, what category will i fall. Should i go by my Husband's PD date?
2. Will i be covered under the F2 A visa - Spouse of green card holder?
3. The processing time in texas service center for I-485 shows as Jan 12, 2015. This is the last file date of the case that was completed by the USCIS. Then will my filing date by as April 2nd, 2015 - the date which they received the RFE.
4. Can i seek help from Senate office to check on my status?
Kindly guide me through my queries so that I can be in peace.
