Was it the same for you when you received the notification letter or will I now really receive my EAD card on Saturday?

The notification you posted was my actual EAD card. I got the notification letters a day before - they came in regular mail and were not tracked. Did you get your EAD notice yet?

That is my husband, who doesn't like to take pictures. Before we submit the application, if I asked him to take picture together, he always asked, "Why" and had eyes rolled. Now I ask him to take picture together wherever we go, he asks, "why", I said,"it is for interview", he will come to stand by me and without eyes rolling.

I am not sure if my husband would be ok with that hahaha. And I understand his point. We will see. I always try to sneak up on him and take pictures of him but USCIC won't take that as evidence haha. I need that selfie stick

Yeah our lawyer also suggested that we should bring a couple of pages (15-20) with photos & captions (wedding, friends, family, trips,...) so that they can keep it. This should really be easy for every married couple.

At our interview the IO asked to keep some of the photos for the file‚ so I would recommend taking hard copies and not digital ones. I'm also not too sure on what the policy might be about you using a tablet in the interview room.

Keep in mind everybody, that AOS based on marriage is always similar to this.

If you are in a serious relationship and got married because you love each other you really shouldn't fear anything.

Just make sure you bring documents to support your statement, but if you live together and are married and in love, you will have all of those anyway. They are not asking for anything special that you wouldn't have anyway when you are married.

We currently live with his parents so maybe we can get an official letter type and notarized that states that we live together. We have a checking joint account, joint credit cards, auto insurance, cell phones, membership to Museum of Science and Industry, photos, trips, We haven't done taxes together since we got married after tax season. We both get medical insurance from our employers but might need to look into making one of us the beneficiary. The HR at my work is not very helpful -__- Like I asked her what should I fill out and change and she said that I do not need to fill out anything. I am like well I am not so sure about that like what will happen next year when we do taxes jointly?

Well I knew my husband while in college. He was actually the first person I saw at the orientation: we were both lost as to where it was taking place. So I have known him for almost 3 years. We dated for less than one year and we got married.

NOA received in mail sometime between 6/8 and 6/13 since I was out of state

Now waiting on those biometrics!!! Argh..Not very patient hahaha

Ha!! What a relief that I am not alone in this situation lol We got married rather quickly too after about 6 months of dating but we knew each other before that for over a year.

Please let me know about your USCIS updates, if you don't mind.

I am Polish as well!! And I married a US born citizen who comes from a Mexican family. I too have an EAD and SS# through DACA. We waited about two months to file everything and I am worried about giving enough proof that we are married because we love each other and the GC is just an added benefit. We got married faster than expected because his parents told him to and he figured that since we will eventually get married that doing it sooner won't hurt.

I just hope that our case won't encounter any milestones.

Me and my husband been married for over two years now (04/10/2017 was our 2nd anniversary), we waited over a year to file for Adjustment of Status since we didn't have any travel plans and I already had EAD and SS# from my previous action for Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. So my EAD is not for new card technically but, for renewal. The reason for delay to apply for Adjustment of Status was to show that we legitimately are in love and are serious about our relationship, since my husband is US Citizen and he is Puerto Rican and I am Polish white girl, we were afraid that USCIS might look at as "Green Card Married" only however, I fear they might look at it like it is.
