Really Really need HELP!!!
Hi,
my son petitioned me in 2002 . I filed all papers i-130 and 1-485 along with the other (i765 and biographical evidence) I work as a housekeeper and I had put my son's address as my address. Unfortunately he's been moving a lot and evertie I filed the AR-11 and the change of address to my local office in NYC. USCIS just sent the notice of action paper in march 2005. to the first address that I filed. it didint say anything specific just that they had received the papers (3 years later) then I received a paper to my present address deniyng my i-485 in nov. 2005 because according to them they sent the fingerprints paper and I never went to the appointment. But they sent the i-130 approval again to my first address. So I talked to a lawyer and he said that it was better off to apply just tot he i-485 than to appeal the case, that it would take forever to appeal the case. so I am going to apply to the i-485 with my approved i-130. Now I work in Florida as a housekeeper and I want to apply with this address here in florida.
1. Do you think it would be a problem to apply from here even though my case was approved in NY?
2. How long do you think it would take? I really need to have my greencard.
Any other advises? After all this mess I need some support and advice.
