My I-485 case status said that from 6/5 to 10/17 so do not freak out. Wait for your EAD first which will happen after you do your biometrics.

Case Status Processing Times way behind!

My case status is stuck at finger print fee received. Even on the USCIS app, it's stuck. Is anyone else having this problem? I see others on the forum saying their status is updating. What am I doing wrong?

My status is the same. Completed biometrics, but no case status updates as yet...

From what I've seen, the only update you'll see is either an RFE or "Ready to be scheduled for interview". Someone on page 6(or 7) is slightly ahead of us and posted their timeline. It was about 10 calendar days before theirs changed, so I'm not expecting a change until at least next week.

Ok, well hopefully we don't get any RFE's!!

I was reading somewhere it says that biometrics appointment depends on how soon they can schedule you at your local office to do fingerprints. It kind of make sense since it took them 10 days after my mail receipts to actually make the notice and then to mail it out 2 days later. And then when i got the notice it said that my appointment is on November 16...35 days after my PD/receiving my file. I even see on other forums where some people didn't receive their notice until 2 months after PD, it sucks but that does happen. If you don't get your notice within 30 days of your PD, I would try calling them just for peace of mind.

I was only talking about getting an update after completing biometrics. You should get a biometrics apointment letter sometime (eh.. about a week or two) after they cash the checks. Maybe. Nothing is really exact with them.

Do you think you will experience an expedited process for walking in earlier? You technically did it 11 days earlier. Not sure if it may speed things up but would be good to know in order to follow your steps.

I don't know if it will speed the process or not. It would be nice if it did speed the process, but we were more concerned with being able to complete the biometrics and not have to reschedule because we'll be out of town.

We received the biometrics appointment letter on 11/11/17 with a scheduled appointment for 11/24/17. We did a walk in yesterday (11/13/17) because we will be out of town celebrating Thanksgiving on the 24th. Biometrics completed with no problems; the place was empty.
