January 2018 AOS filers

I filled on junuary and my enterview is on may this year... I live in Los Angeles ... I didn?t receive my work authorization but my enterview is already done.

That's great! Who knows, your EAD card may come very soon before the interview

I decided to make a new thread for all those who are going to file their AOS concurrent filing in January 2018. Since I will be one of those, I have a question to start out with. Do you think I will get a RFE because I won't submit a 2017 tax return? I am planning on sending my package in mid January and by then, I am simply not able to show any 2017 tax YET... but by the time they actually get to read my application, they might want to see it?

How will you handle this situation?

It that happen when i first got the texts after I had filled it but it fixed after a few days and before receive the mails.
I tried call to track it but they said that my case had no information at the moment.
I'm gonna wait a little bit to see if I get something.

Same here. And those apps use the USCIS website to retrieve the information so downloading an app makes no sense. I hae 2 of those apps and I'm getting the same validation error.

Use an app. Don't bother with the website.

I use USCIS Case Status app by Spinach Mobile LLC on my Android. Works very well. I put the name of the dev there as well because there are several other apps with the same name. I've tried them all and personally I like this one. However, an app is only as good as its backend (i'm sure there's a joke in there someplace) and in this case the backend happens to be the highly unreliable USCIS case status system...

I got a text message saying my i-485 was updated and now i cant check it because its showing validation error message
