Are you saying that employment-based interviews are supposed to be scheduled ahead of marriage-based interviews?

Mine is employment-based but has not been scheduled.

He/she got lucky. USCIS claims it?s due to a system glitch. I think it was one or several clueless staff members in the mailroom mis-classifying cases. 1-130 vs 1-140 (employment based). Either way, USCIS does have deadlines for employment based AOS and not for family based AOS. Therefore, this alleged glitch definitely sped things up for those affected by it.

    What is your field office?

All the interview that have been scheduled in a short period time it is related employment based, even if you filled for immediate relative. That is weird. Anyone has a theory about it?

Thanks guys! I was actually able to talk to someone who sounded very nice (lol I did not expect that). I am now waiting to hear back from USCIS again about sending in potential evidence (I argued for expedited EAD due to financial hardship).

Oh that gives me hope again! Did you ever get an RFIE? Are you going straight to GC interview or have you received your EAD yet?

    Updates

Just got un update, my case is ready for an interview. Though it said Employment based, looking into other threads seems lots of people with marriage based got same online notification, but more descriptive on paper.
    Still waiting for the mail.

1 for English then select option 2 then 2 again and 2 one more time (the option where they ask if u can't find your receipt number then they'll connect u to a customer care rep. After u answer their questions, ask to speak to a level 2 officer).

Also, make sure u call directly at 8am in the morning because if u call later the level 2 officers wouldn't be available and you'll have an option to leave a message for a call back.

Yeah, best thing is to call in first and then mail the documents.

The InfoPass officers can be useful if you need something like an emergency AP, they can also supposedly look up additional information about the status of your case or explain to you how to file some papers. Overall, I agree they are fairly useless and dealing with them can lead to frustration. The system doesn't work very well, as you already know.
