Yes, I followed most of the attempts exception about the infopass. I couldn't never find a available time

I agree what you said but I still have the right to have the option to visualize my process status. If the USCIS didn't do their Jobs fixing that glitch I am going to find a another way to try to figure this out. That is the ombudsman job and I am sure there a couple people that works there and my case its simple and it wouldn't waste their energy and time.

The screenshot below is from the Ombudsman's contact page. They ask that you attempt to resolve the issue first. Did you attempt any or all of the 6 steps listed below?

I do not see anything wrong with your timeline. What is your field office? The fastest office is Cleveland, OH and it reports 4 months for 50% of cases. There have been reports of faster processing but that has also involved the infamous system-glitch. Your case is right on track and moving along. If you are already getting a validation error, that's a good sign.

Your application is just as important as everyone else's. However, we outnumber government officials. If we all start cluttering their desks with requests to look into our cases just because... then that lifeline will be taken away.

There are people losing TPS status who will need the Ombudsman's time and energy to help them. Some of them have been here for 2 decades - in limbo. Let's be mindful of that.

    All the best.

Is there any chance to get a RFIE after the interview is ready to be scheduled?

Interview ready to be scheduled: April 25
Card (EAD) was mailed to you: April 27

    Employment-based Interview scheduled: April 30

    Waiting for the mails now.
It looks like you received the EAD card, even though the expedite request was responded with "your case is in our normal processing time". Do you think the expedite request helped on the EAD card process, or was it just the same time without the expedite request?

Yes, sorry! I had to look up myself what IVR stands for since. Interactive Voice Response.
Ok, good to know. Thank you! I am not holding my breath. It is Minneapolis.

By the way, I just realized that my I-485 status on the IVR line is "Status for this receipt number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct". In the mean time, on the case tracker app, my status shows - "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview." Same on egov. But on the dhs.gov account, it shows "A
April 13th, we reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case"

I also punched in other receipts around me that also show "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview." got the same recording "Status for this receipt number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct". It's all very interesting.
Were you also getting that status on the IVR line or you just couldn't access your account on egov or dhs.gov?

While it is possible for FOUR Level 1 reps to not know how to read the screen, I highly doubt there are any Level 2 officers who would be confused by information that is not "hidden" to them. I had 2 of 4 reps tell me that my interview had already been scheduled. I was finally able to confirm I am in for the long haul with the Minneapolis Field Office.

Notices do get lost in the mail. There are two things that you can do:

    1. Call USPS and initiate recovery of that mail piece. Sure, it was not scanned. Well, the more reason to look for it. The thief could easily be the person scanning mail into the USPS informed delivery system. How hard is it to pocket something and not scan it? If the first person says no, remember, that does not mean it cannot be done. They're really saying they do not have the authority to grant what you're asking. So ask for a supervisor and get the ball rolling on that. You know where the notice came from. It's from the NBC in MO.

    2. I would call USCIS on Monday right at 8am and ask to speak to a Level 2. If you end up with a call-back, I would state to the Level 1 that you are kindly asking for the interview notice to be faxed to you. Just so that they're prepared. They can fax it to you. You could also send an e-request here.

    3. You should get it resolved with #2. Alternatively, you can try getting an InfoPass appointment. I would exhaust #2 because as disorganized as the National Benefits Center may seem, it's actually one of the better functioning engines of USCIS.

    4. Congress person. USCIS would not blink twice before sending you a Denial notice if you miss your appointment. So this is serious business. If you ask for a fax and you are offered for the letter to be mailed again. - clearly, that venue did not work. Let them but take note of it and run straight to the Congress person. If you think you are bothering your Senator, you are not. Your spouse is a voter and you are a future voter. They have to get re-elected. You won't be dealing with the Senator him/-herself but with their staff. They can get EAD/APs adjudicated in 24 hours.

All the best. Keep us posted!
