Checked in and waited patiently until I heard my name called by the IO at 8:13am. No smile, nothing just straight face but myself and my wife weren't bothered at all. Anyways we smiled and greeted him politely while we struggled with the TONS of documents including our heavy wedding album, souvenirs from our wedding etc. The IO led us to his office still not smiling only to ask if I was my wife's attorney (I guess from the way I dressed, my shirt with nice tie and inner suit jacket just as I don them on our wedding day...lol). Anyways, we were sworn in and ask to seat at this point the IO smile and asked if we understand and speaks English...lol. We responses yes. He said fine let's proceed. He requested our ids and my passport being the applicant. We supplied all of that and my wife added her green card as well. He brought out my file and smile again saying this is a straightforward case and he's gonna run me the Form 485 again and just ask how we met and we will be done.

After running through the 485 including the yes/no questions (though he just randomly asked the yes/no), he updated my job since I now have EAD which he ask to see my EAD card. He was observing my interaction with my wife at the same time I didn't know this until the end of interview when he mentioned it. Well, he asked how we met and I looked at my wife, we both laughed cos we've been through a lot together. I asked if I can answer is question with some pictures which he agrees to. He was busy with his computer at this time, so I brought out some pictures myself, wife and two other friends as far back as 2006 during our days in Medical school in Nigeria. We started as friends then to study partners and eventually we started dating in 2011 and I proposed in an unconventional way (not with ring but with a Bible. We had the Bible with us at the interview) in 2014 and my wife cut in to complete the story of how she didn't know I wrote a marriage proposal in the Bible she thought it was just a gift for her induction into medical profession. Anyways she replied too in an unconventional way after two weeks of my proposal and we decided to get married in 2017. At this point the IO burst into laughter uncontrollably...lol. He finally checked on the spot to know if there's availability of visa for me and at the same finally background check. All of which comes out positive. He ran through my file with him again and requested for my I-693, medical which I glad gave the sealed medical report. He opened and said all set. I'm approving your 10 years green card and you should have it in less than 3weeks. Any question for me? I insisted he view our wedding album cos it's so heavy and we brought it for him to view, he smiled and obliged us. We viewed the album together and discussed about Africa, my parents and Inlaws. He asked when are we bringing them to US and he also told me about how I can become a US Citizen. He encourages us not to get into any trouble and focus on why we are here. We appreciated him for his time and service and departed.

We went prepared with bunch of documents but we didn't need any save the medical report I submitted and evidence of my change of name.

I hope this helps and good luck to you all June filers!

I have request my expedite back on 08/09/2019 (job offer), faxed all the support docs later on , It's been long time , still haven't got EAD yet . tier 2 is not helping , always told me continually wait . Does anyone got same EAD ? bcoz I don't have EAD, so I am not allegeable for health insurance . I got injured from a car accident , with no health insurance ,that made things even more frustrating . I really don't know what to do now .

Thank you. I've seen your timeline and it looks similar to my friend's timeline. His i485,765 and 131 was applied march 6 2019 then he received his EAD and AP combo card 8/21/209 after that was a "scheduled for interview" notification by 9/12/2019. He said to me his interview date is 10/23/2019.

I would like to hear from those silent readers too who applied AOS on june 2019 from eb3.

I just wanted to compare timelines of same category. It seems to me all F2A or marriage based moves faster than eb/eb3.

    6/5/2019 - i485, i765, and i131 application passed (non concurrent application)
    7/2/2019 - biometrics schedule
    7/4/2019 - fingerprint review completed
9/10/19 - ead and ap approved
9/14/19 - ead, ap combo card delivered
    no Update yet.

It seems like June 2019 cases are moving slow. Hope case will move to RFE or Case ready to be scheduled for an interview. Keep us posted if your case moves forward.

Nah, don't think that is the case, even July filers getting interview scheduled. looks like NBC is using last in first out policy on the documents review.

It seems that June 2019 cases have not yet processed on a mass scale (except some individual cases). Is there any June 2019 filer who has his/her case processed lately (i.e., going beyond the completion of biometrics review status)?
