That was yesterday morning and I haven’t seen any update or anything. Anyone has a similar experience? How long until I see it happening?

My case (also sent to Chicago) has no progress , and it's already 5 weeks since then.

Yes! Got my receipt notices on 07/01 (exactly one month after my package was delivered). Biometrics done on 07/19. And now since 07/23 it says that my fingerprint review is completed.

I also haven’t received my receipt yet. It’s been almost 4 weeks now.

Sent my package via USPS (Chicago office) 5/30/19
Package received 6/01/19

Silence since then. I keep checking if they cashed my check for $1225 but no.
What gives?

I called uscis and requested expedite. The same day I went to senators office and requested help with expediting. I don’t know which of them process faster, but I received mail from uscis asking to fax job offer referencing my phone call to them. Which I faxed a week ago. Hope that helps

Hi everyone, I have been following this for a while now. I really do need urgent response please! My husband who is a U.S citizen, works with the federal government filed i-130 for me, so we filed I 485 and EAD together with the I 130 on 21st of may 2019, got receipt notice a week later, now its being over 2months and we haven't got biometrics appointment letter. Could that means there is a problem with the application we filed? Meanwhile we didn't use a lawyer. Anyone in this situation or who was once in should please help.

I would call and ask if it is within normal processing time. I got mine pretty quickly, but some people haven’t even got receipt numbers within the first month. So I think it all depends case by case or who is working on your papers. But definitely call and check, maybe they are backed up a little.

Can I ask you what was your expedite category/reason? Did you send a job offer?
