I guess I'll try on Monday to do it walk in. My appointment is on July 11th and I don't want to wait. What's your field office? I'm in Portland Oregon.

Thanks a lot for sharing this information ????
My field office in Minneapolis MN. Yeah i hope the process is smooth. Yeah don't wait just walk in and talk to them like you know you can do a walk in. Don't ask if you can or not. Just say you are there to do early biometrics. And they will take you in. And thank you I just want to share with others and hear from others we are all in this together...

Thank you. I have a very similar filing timeline to yours and I just received my biometrics letter today in the mail. Nothing changed online though (on my USCIS account it just still says application received) and I'm also wondering about the biometrics walk-in on next Monday.

If you want to do it, just go in show the letter and ID, don't say that your appointment is for a different date. It looks like most people that tell them that appointment is for another date get rejected and those who doesn't say anything are able to do it. Good luck.
thank you for the information, I'll stick original appointment just be safe

    Thanks
I read a case recently that the extra check was returned. I hope they do the same in your case.
Don't worry anyway, if they return everything, just file again without payment and a copy of the I-485 receipt.

But I agree, is not perfectly clear the information on some forms.
