Hey NY people, got interviews scheduled? I wonder what is the realistic waiting period for us, used to be 12-14 months before covid

It was my understanding that USCIS would first schedule AOS interviews for ppl who got theirs cancelled (after Oath ceremonies) so I wonder why they schedule first interviews before us :/ maybe the ppl you are talking about are EB and not family based?
Emplyment most of the time they waived the interview now

My interview was originally scheduled for 04/01/2020. As most of you I received the cancellation notice on 03/17/2020. Today I was surprised with an email from USCIS that an action had been taken on my case and the interview was scheduled again. Now waiting for the letter with my new date.
So apparently things are starting to move again.
Best of luck to everyone!
