Biometrics taken and applied, now hoping to get my EAD soon

Here's my updated timeline:
06/02: Package received by USCIS (I-485, I-683, I-944, I-130, I-130A, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor, I-765, I-131)
06/11: Checks cashed
08/04: RFIE notification sent
09/18: Response to RFIE was received
01/26: Received biometrics appointment notice in the mail, scheduled for 02/09
02/09: Biometrics taken
02/10: Biometrics applied to I-485 and I-765
02/22: Interview scheduled

EDIT: Interview was just scheduled! I was just telling my husband about how I feel like they're trying to get ppl directly to the interview instead of giving out EADs, to help with the backlog

Filed AOS packet on June 5, 2020. FINALLY!!! After 2 expedite requests, 2 Service Requests, 2 calls with Tier 2 Officers and another half a dozen calls and chats with Emma. I received this I-765 update today, Card is being Produced.

My previous job offer expired but I am fortunate the employer was willing to wait and issued an updated job offer for the 2nd expedite request. The recent request went fairly fast, filed on January 25 and approved today. To those that are still waiting, hang in there and just keep trying to get your cases moving. Trust that efforts will eventually pay-off!!!

Any June filers who got EAD?

Hi everyone,
I am married to a USC. I filed my AOS package (i130, i485, i756, i131, i1944, i864 and i130A) to Chicago lockbox June 30th 2020. I received notice of action July 14th 2020 with receipt number and that biometric fee along with application fee has been accepted and cashed. I received July 28th RFE for i864 and responded to this which was received August 7th 2020. It is almost end of January 2021 now and I have not received anymore update from USCIS. I have not even received a biometric appointment. Does anyone have a similar timeline?

I finally got my bio appointment notice in the mail this morning! I thought it would never come... Great timing because I have a job interview tomorrow!

My timeline so far:

-01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.
-06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
-07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to Lee-Summit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.
-10/27/2020: Called USCIS regarding biometrics appointment not yet scheduled. USCIS send E-Request to Chicago FO.
-11/10/2020: Immigration officer reaches out to me via phone call to explain the reason I haven't received a biometrics appointment, appointment will come eventually.
-11/23/2020: USCIS files another E-Request for biometrics.
-12/04/2020: USCIS confirms biometrics appointment has been scheduled and letter with details is in the mail already.
-12/05/2020: Biometrics appointment scheduled for December 21st 2020.
-12/21/2020: Biometrics taken.
-12/22/2020: Biometrics applied to cases.
-12/29/2020: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Question:
I have SSN from my F1 status that shows valid with work only. Can I use the same one or I have to apply for a new card?

You don't need, but you'll want to apply for a new card. The number doesn't change. I believe you'll need the EAD NoA to be sent with the application.

Question:
I called to expedite EAD but instead they changed my status of I485 to be scheduled for interview. I heard it can take months for interview, I really need my EAD. I'm worried they don't send EAD till I485 interview. Is this normal? ever happened to anyone?

Yes it is possible based on "Severe Financial Loss to Company or Person". However, it is NOT guaranteed.

YES , I did the same. You just have to call uscis to expedite and when they ask you for more information or documents for expediting your request , you fax your employment later .

I had the same issue with the fax number when I was sending my job offer as evidence for my expedite request. I kept trying and took a few days before I got through. I recall searching forums and this appears to be a common occurrence for their fax number. I ended up going to Staples multiple times; I believe their fax system re-tries a few consecutive times when it's first send fails to go through.

They sent me an email to send proof for expedite request. I tried to fax them my wife hospital bills but their fax number is busy and it does not go through. I chat with Emma to see if I can send proof any other way but they said they don't know and a Tier 2 officer will give me a call within 7 days. I tried with Fedex fax and it seems like it was sent but there is no way of knowing. Is there any other way to send proof? I already mailed them proof 20 days ago (01/01/2021) with request but they never got it (I guess) that's why I requested again with Emma
