Hey guys, did anyone receive their SSN after they got their EADs? My ead has been approved since 12/21/2020 and got the eas on had 1 and a half weeks ago but my ssn hasn’t arrived yet

In your I-765 form, there is a question about SSN if you need one, did you check that? If yes, try calling your local SSA office, tell them you received your EAD (I-766) already and ask if there is a pending SSN application under your name.

We had biometrics done 1/8 as well - fingerprints were applied to the case the day after but no updates since! We didn't apply for Advanced Parole - wondering when the social security and all of that will come.

What's your field office? Our cases seem to be more or less in sync.

Just to note that the social security number did not arrive with my EAD (waited 3 weeks). I initially checked the box that I want to receive a ssn with my i765 application but after talking to the ss office they told me that there is no application made under your name. I had to go to the field office and apply in person.

Spoke too soon! Just checked and our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. What a relief.

Next steps for us are to get the appt for the I-693 as we haven't done so yet. We don't have proof of any prior vaccinations so I think that's going to be the challenge to get taken care of first.

-06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
-07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to Lee-Summit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.
-10/27/2020: Called USCIS regarding biometrics appointment not yet scheduled. USCIS send E-Request to Chicago FO.
-11/10/2020: Immigration officer reaches out to me via phone call to explain the reason I haven't received a biometrics appointment, appointment will come eventually.
-11/23/2020: USCIS files another E-Request for biometrics.
-12/04/2020: USCIS confirms biometrics appointment has been scheduled and letter with details is in the mail already.
-12/05/2020: Biometrics appointment scheduled for December 21st 2020.
-12/21/2020: Biometrics taken.
-12/22/2020: Biometrics applied to cases.
-12/29/2020: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

I haven't gotten any updates on EAD either. My case went straight to "ready to schedule for interview" and nothing else still. I really want to be able to work soon.

By the way, according to USCIS processing times, our I-131 are officially out of processing time so we can submit case status inquiries. I did mine today, they said they would get back to me by Feb 16.

At least you guys are getting your statuses change after biometric. Mine is stuck at "case received" and "fingerprint fee received" since my bio on 1/4. Still not sure why I got a code 2. I'm assuming you guys all had a code 3 bio.

Had my biometrics on Jan 22nd, and today the I-765 status changed to "New Card is Being Produced." Hopefully the I-485 interview comes soon too!

Ooooh lucky!! Congrats! Please share how long it takes for you to get the card when you get it.

I keep checking the status EVERY day, this much waiting is a nightmare.
