    See https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/us...uscis-requests

Some options you can look into (more than one can apply):
    1. (Best option) Ask the issuing authority to provide an updated document that meets one of the criteria above, or have the issuing authority provide a description about the digitization process and how it is expected that some documents could have illegible information.
    2. Use a professional translation company. They would need to list everything on the original in the translation also and certify that it is correct.
    3. Additionally, provide secondary evidence of the birth (e.g. matriculation certificate and other government-issued identification documents listing date of birth depending on the country. e.g. for India this could be Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, etc.)
    4. Additionally, provide atleast 2 affidavits from individuals closely related to the person, older and familiar with the birth. You can review these links for descriptions and sample affidavits:
      1. https://www.immihelp.com/birth-certi...-requirements/
      2. https://www. ******** .com/us-birth-certificate
    This grasshopper isn't patient!!

So I decided the easiest thing would be to go back to the translator we used for all our docs. On the birth certificate translation, I noticed she grouped a signature and seal together and marked both as illegible which wasn't the case, only the seal was illegible.

So I had her separate them in the translation and sent this back. USCIS confirmed receipt online yesterday.

    Hope it works!

Hello, may I ask what is initial review , I see most of the cases got updated as Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
After the fingerprints, does your case show something different?

I see that you have a attorney represented for you same as mine. So you will also get the physical I797 receipt notices even go through a law firm? and will you also receive text notification from USCIS as well? As my attorney told me today that my application fee check was cashed in August 24 by USCIS. I'm wondering if I will receive the physical I797 receipt in my mailbox so that I can keep a copy of the receipts.

Standard notice from what I understand when one doesnt sent I693 with initial package.

Silence since NOAs for me too other than this notice. No bio, nothing !
