Hi All,
I am planning to apply for I485 for self and dependent. However, I noticed that my dependent's DOB is different between Passport and Birth Certificate. What are my options?
a) I could get an affidavit from parents stating correct date of birth and attach school certificates as additional proof
b) I could get DOB in the passport corrected (Long process due to the COVID situation & embassies operating limited). But will this have impact to the L2 Dependent visa/L2 EAD and the I-140 petition?
Also, I don't have a birth certificate. I had applied for one during my last trip to India, but no response from the officials. I have the application form copy with me. Will it suffice if I submit the affidavits along with the copy of the application form?
