Thank you so much for your support!
Time apart will definitely help. Yesterday my husband (I am a girl ) promised that he won't stop the immigration process if we decide to separate. Stress relief

I tried that but I never heard back from my congresswoman. I know that it has worked for others, though.

Sorry to hear that. Honestly same here my marriage feels falling apart too. Especially it’s tough since being the applicant/immigrant having less power over this entire situation. How long have you guys been married?

Biometrics are typically done sooner than that. People in this group who already got their bio appointment waited only fo 3 months.
That makes sense. Thank you for the clarification.

I called the USCIS today and based on my location, the USCIS person said it would take 14 to 27 months for it to be processed (since the date it was received) and the biometrics appointment can happen anytime between that timeline. 14-27 MONTHS!!! My oh my... The timeline she gave me was based on this page: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

I'm curious for those who have received the biometrics appointment, whether the processing time on that page matches with your timeline.

01/12/2021 - Pending charges on Credit Card
01/14/2021 - Charges posted on the Credit Card
    01/17/2021 - Text message with 3 receipt #s (I-130, I-1485, I-131) received
    01/25/2021 - Paper receipts for same three (I-130, I-485, I-131) received.

Actually on 1/17 - received 5 text massages - but two messages had repeat of I-130 and I-131 receipt numbers.

Question - We did not receive either a text message or paper receipt for I-765 (Application for Work Authorization). I was expecting this one as well. Have others received this? If yes at the same time or out of sequence? Just trying to figure out if I need to begin worrying about a misplaced application.

01/30/2021 - I-765 application rejected - got the form back in USPS - issue - old form used.
02/02/2021 - Sent updated I-765 via USPS Priority Mail - Chicago Lockbox
02/08/2021 - Application received - IT TOOK 1 WEEK FOR PRIORITY MAIL TO REACH!!
    03/10/2021 - Receipt received for updated I-765
03/20/2021 - Biometrics appointment scheduled for April 16th! Lawrence, MA field office.

Wow! Was pleasantly surprised to see this quick turnaround on the Biometrics. Hoping rest of the case proceeds equally fast!

Question: The biometrics notice has petition info about I-485 and I-765 only. No reference to the I-131 receipt. Anyone else have experience with this - please share.

Oh, I apologize--I didn't mean to make it sound like I was asking about your personal stuff. I asked because I heard from other people who are having similar issues with their jobs because it's taking so long to process their cases, especially for people on OPT. I think it's ridiculous. I don't know if these are considered normal processing times, but I find it upsetting that people have to lose their jobs because of it.
