GC Renewal and foreign trip
Hi,
My current GC will expire in 6 months. I travel 3/4 times a year to US but end up spending more time in India.
Q1. Once I file I-90 online, I will have 3 weeks before I go for finger printing. Since my current GC will be valid is it fairly safe to travel to Canada during this time with my current GC?
Q2. Since I-190 is an online application, can I file it from outside US and make sure that I am in US prior to finger printing date?
Q3. Will I have to give away my current GC during finger printing? Can I travel outside US immediately after finger printing using my current GC?
