Hello everyone,
I have mailed last week my form I-131 for a re-entry permit. I need to go back to my home country as soon as possible.
Unfortunately I didn't know about the "expedite" process, and even worse, I checked the box "send re-entry permit to address on page 1" which is my current US address, instead of writing my address in my home country. Because I had seen everywhere that you had to remain on US soil while your case is pending, I just thought it wouldn't change anything in terms of how quick you can leave the country.
But I could be in my home country earlier if I can leave after the biometrics appointment.
My question is: can I make this change of delivery address at my biometrics appointment? There is a possibility to change your address on the USCIS website if you have a pending case, but it's only for the US residential address, nothing there as specific as a delivery address change for a 1-131.
