I just got my Permanent Resident Card aka Green Card through Employment late Dec 2017. The job position I had applied to get my GC is Network and System Admin. However, I have been with my current employer for 8 years(they sponsored my h1b as well) and working on current job position for 8 years as well. I really want to venture/explore new things (i.e new job position and new employer). I am interested in Project Management. Considering I got my GC for Network and System Admin and with my current employer, can I move to different company after 2 months and take on a new job position?
