Hi,
I am a US citizen. After the visitor visa application got rejected thrice [under the pretext of potential immigrants
] for my parents in India, I had no choice but apply for their GC so that they can visit me in US. Now they have their GC and are in US. However, my parents are neither interested in statying here in USto begin with for more than 2 months nor having a GC. They like visiting US may be once in 2-3 years; in these circumstances its obviously very difficult to maintain GC.
Now my question is, is there a way they can get a visitor visa for 10 yrs or so [they are 60+ and can't visit consultate once a year] inlieu of their GC?? Visitor visa is what they want to begin with in the firstplace. Any suggestions?
