Dear helper,
I received my green card through my spouse in 1990. we returned to our homeland, Iran, in 1991 for a visit. I was not allowed to leave Iran because of the mandatory military service for 2 years. So my wife applied for a divorce and returned to U.S. I got married in 1995 and have 2 sons.
I would like to return to U.S now.
The questions I have are:
1.Is my green card still valid since it was issued in 1990 ?
2. If the Green Card is not valid, could I enter U.S and renew it?
3.If not, could I renew it outside u.s?
4.If none of the above apply, what could be done to retain my green card?
