US passport for minor under age 16
Hi all,
I would like to ask you some questions based on the above subject line. Following are my concerns.
Q. How to get the form DS-3053 notarized from a US consulate? Do I need to take an appointment for it? Is there a cost associated with it?
Q. My passport was issued in Mumbai, and I am currently planning to go to Hyderabad consulate as this is much nearer to Bangalore (place where I work). Is there any specific rules wherein you need to go to a specific consulate where my passport is issued?
Q. Is there a specific department inside consulate that takes care of notarization?
Q. Is there any specification on which pen should I use? Black or Blue for filling up the form?
Q. Can I courier the form to my wife after getting it notarized? Can you'll suggest some good courier services for the same? I might need it to send urgently.
I would appreciate all the help and responses from the experts out here. I know some of you'll might have gone through it.
