Hi,
I am charged with Theft of Property - Misdemeanor Type A in TEXAS ( Hays County ).
I have hired a criminal Lawyer. My Lawyer says that i need to do some hours of community service and he will get the case dismissed. And get the charges reduced to a non theft charge.
I have to apply for my H1B in this year.
I have the following questions :
1. Is the outcome suggested by my criminal lawyer suitable for applying H1B ?
2. What will be visible to the Immigration Team - Theft of Property charges or the reduced charges ? Will the Immigration team come to know that it was a bargain and that i was convicted of Theft of Property ?
3. When i have to submit the documents for H1B, do i have to mention the reduced charges or Theft Charges ?
