Hello,
I got my L1 visa extension documents in May-2014 but no stamping done yet. After that my company applied for AOS and applied for i-140 and i-485 concurrently in Sep-2014. I received my AP/EAD combo card in Nov-2014.
I am traveling to India for about 2 weeks next month. I have a very tight schedule in India so may not be able to get L1 visa stamped. Would it be safe to return by using AP only while my i-140 and i-485 are still pending and L1 visa extension has not got stamped?
How long should it take to get the GC? USCIS are still processing mid-July 2014 cases.
