Everything I read seems to contradict what I read earlier! I've gotten two different answers to this question. Can someone tell me for sure?
We are applying for the K-1 visa to bring my fiance here. Once here we will marry and apply for the change of status. We would like to travel to Ireland to do the church ceremony blessing our marriage in August. Will he be able to travel by then?
I have been told no, under no circumstances can he travel while waiting for adjustment of status.
I have been told that he can, if he applies for AP. I have been told by two 'experts,' one said apply for AP with K-1 and the other said apply with AOS. I don't know which is correct. I'd appreciate your help from experience! Thanks.
