Hi,
I am a student on OPT and working for a software company.
Since the H1 quota ran out this year, my employer started processing my pre-approved Labor and green card.
I filed for this in late January and got all my receipts last week.
The receipts are I-131, I-140, I-765 and I-485.
While this process is in the pipeline, can I file for an H1B to safeguard myself?
I am nervous that the application may be rejected because I am going from OPT to Green Card.
If I apply for H1, does my green card reset?
