Starting this thread related to I-824 filing and Consular processing outside of US:
I have my 140 approved under Eb3 category and the petition clearly mentions "Adjustment of status". I have been outside of the country for quite a long time (6 years) and my employer & attorney doesn't respond to me anymore. I checked the USCIS for case status and it shows up with my approved status of I140.
What is the process for me to apply for consular processing considering i am outside of US
should i file I-824 (assuming this is the first step)
what would be the following steps to better address my case on my own or do i need to approach an attorney to file I-824 and take it from there?
What if my date becomes current and i don't apply for consular processing, can i look for any employer who can file adjustment of status?
Your expert guidance in this matter will help me a lot.
