Hello All,
It is my understanding that Supplement J is specifically designed for future employer upon the approval of 485. My interview is next week and would like to get some suggestion from you guys. Below are my details.
I was working for Company "A" under H1B and filed 140 and 485 concurrently from Company "A".
140 Approved
My H1B ended from Company "A" and now I am working for new Company "B" under H1B (new). Similar job (most of the responsibilities are same as disclosed on my 140 from Company "A"). I switched my job after 182 days from the 485 filing date from Company "A"
Now I am in a position where I can get Supplement J from both Company A and Company B.
I am planning to get a Supplement J from company "A" stating my intent to go back and work for them once my 485 is approved. This will maintain the job position, responsibilities, and salary disclosed on my 140.
One the other hand, I also can get Supplement J from Company B as I am already working for them. The only concern is that the job position and responsibilities are slightly different from the one disclosed on my 140.
