Here is my status ... I'm on L1-A visa valid till Apr 2009 and I’m planning to apply for another extension. My wife is on L2 visa and got her EAD. She is working now and we are planning to process our GC (after my L1-A extension) through her employer under EB2/ EB3 category. How long does it take to process the GC? Once GC processing is started is it possible to stay in US even after the visa expires, just like what H1B candidates do?"
