Leaving and re-entering US after I-140 approval
I am currently on a H1b visa working in the US and my employment based green card is being processed; waiting for PERM approval. I am an Indian citizen, so my priority date will be current after 10-20 years.
After the I-140 is approved, is it possible for me to leave the US for a few years, change employers, and come back to the US? To my knowledge browsing forums online, this is possible and the way to come back would be to have an American employer file a H1B transfer application for me(est. time approx 2-3 months non-premium).
