Hi,
im now a green card holder , previously under h1b , and is currently applying DS 260 for my kid abroad. as im filling up the form under Petitioner , the part where it asks "Petitioner is my" has only EMPLOYER, PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYER, SELF and OTHERS in the list of options . I was expecting a PARENT or FATHER among the list but could not find one. when i select OTHER it adds another set of questions where it asks for the ORGANIZATION NAME instead of a Name. this is where i doubted if i made a mistake somewhere. Also I noticed that the visa class for the applications is E2 . not sure if E2 was referring to me (Father) when i applied for green card. I wanted to know if i should continue with submitting the form with "Petitioner is my" = "OTHER" and my name in the ORGANIZATION NAME. please advise.
