Hi I am a ward of the court my father went to prison when I was 13 years old and my mother left us when I was 4 years old since my father went to jail I was homeless until I got arrested for stealing a shirt and CPS put me under state custody. I am getting my green card through Special Immigration Juvenile Status I had my interview last week but they could not approve me at the time because they needed the final disposition of my arrest ( it is my one and only arrest and I was 15 years old). I am now going to college hoping to major in Political Science , I work as a medical assistant and I am doing really good for myself. I am just scared that my application will not get approved because of that one arrest. The day of my interview the officer was really upset because whoever did my paperwork did not have it in order and because they waited so long to apply. He didn't even ask me any questions about how I am doing. My question is you think he will deny my application? and if he does is there any kind of appeal I can file?
