i came to the United States in 1965 at age 10. My step father was in the U.S. Army and married my mother which is a german citizen. We all took on my his last name and i always assumed that I was adopted. I graduated from high school in 1974 . i got married in 1976 to a native tennessean and have been married for over 30 yrs, have 2 children and 2 great grandchildren, My step father died a few years ago and i found out that I was not adopted and am not american citizen. I now want to become one and would like to know the best procedure..I have live in Tennessee for 35 yrs now. my mother said that we had green cards as children but have no idea where they may be.
