I have an IV (Marriage based) visa stamped on 17th April 2007 will expire on 16th Oct 2007,and i am planning to go to US to live with my spouse(USC) in the 1st week of October 2007 . At the port of entry day my marriage will be 23 months and 7 days old, shall i get a permanent green card or conditional green card? Whats is the date of issue of Permanent/Conditional Green Card after arrival to USA of a Lawfull Immigrant LPR.what will be my tentative start date of Permanent/Conditional green card, if I travel as 23 months and 7 days old immigrant on the day of arrival at US port of entry immigration?when permanent residency will be granted.?? please, share your experience and advice me?i want to avoid Conditional PR if i can as again going thru documention phase after two years...!!!
