My wife (petitioner) has run out of personal checks. It'll take a few days before she receives a new batch (ordering today).
Can I, the beneficiary, pay the I-130 fee ($355) with my personal check (Charter One Bank)? We ran out of checks in our joint account. I have a separate account too at a different bank, which I would use as the source of funds. I've lived in the US for 11 years legally.
So it OK if I-130 fee check is written/paid by beneficiary? Or should we just wait a week or so for her new checkbook to arrive?
